Insurance is there for a reason....when something goes wrong. Nothing went wrong on our trip so did not use the insurance. However, it offers confidence that if something should go wrong one is covered. So, the underlying question is: Do I feel that I got a good value for the level of confidence I garnered. So, looking at the total cost of my trip vs. the cost of the insurance (about 3.5% of the value of the trip), I guess I say say it was worth it,

We are approaching the cut-off age for insurance and would really like it to be offered for older ages, at least for evacuation which is the only one we are ever interested in.
