The Global Alert Preferred plan offers comprehensive Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage if you have to cancel or interrupt your trip due an unforeseen covered event.
Submitted claim in October, 2017 and nothing happened. I called in January, 2018 and one of your customer service agents - Heidi investigated and apparently got it moving through your system. To her credit, Heidi called me on February1st to see if I had received my refund. It had just arrived the day before.
Process was way too slow.

I bought the plan on line and had to change the departure date. It was painless - the InsureMyTrip agent I spoke with was nice and help with the change quickly.
This plan has what I was looking for and it was reasonably priced. Fortunately, I didn't have to use/file any claim so I can't rate how it actually was.
I would recommend using this website to buy travel insurance and will definitely use again.
