I decided to purchase the HCC Atlas International policy on the morning my cruise ship departed. Coverage began when it left the port. I had forgotten to buy coverage earlier and was happy to find this policy, even though I didn't need to file a claim. Peace of mind was worth the low price!

Luckily we didn't need to use the policy. Our vacation to the Caribbean went very smooth. For the low cost of the policy having the peace of mind was nice. Also, InsureMyTrip makes the ease of comparing and ordering very easy.

I purchased the plan because it was less than half the cost of the trip insurance offered by the cruise line. I had great peace of mind knowing that my husband and I were covered in the event something bad were to happen to us. I'll definitely use it again in the future.

Sorry I did not know about your plan before. It was my first experience traveling on a cruise liner. I did requested the other members of our group and they did purchase it. ( 3 couples in all)
