Provided a great deal of confidence that my wife would be financially protected should I meet an unanticipated and unlikely accident/death. At first, I was not going to tell her that I secured such a policy, but later changed my mind. I'm certain that she felt better from knowing. I would have liked the policy to cover the immediate flights prior to and after my international flights.

I didn't have to use the insurance so don't know how it would turn out to be had I needed to use it....but it was great because it instantly sent a letter for the embassy for visa application and meets all the specific requirements for Shengen visa. And the price is pretty good too. :)

We filed a claim for a delay in our travel. We received a confirmation in an email within 3 days saying that the check was being sent. The check arrived within 10 days of filing the claim for the full amount. No other documentation was required and no questions were asked. We were 100% satisfied!

The plan totally complied with the Visa requirements and was accepted by the Embassy. The only issue i faced was that I wanted to change the dates and i had to call 4 times to do that, and they told me it is a long process, which was a bit of a headache for me.

Listing all the plan's options online would've been helpful (and making sure CSRs are fully informed about the products). When I called, I was told by more than one CSR the available options would not cover me for parts of my specific trip (climbing/mountaineering above 14,000 feet). I was then told a few days later by another rep that there was an option that would cover me for all of it, including climbing above 14,000 feet (we were climbing to just under 20,000 feet, on Kilimanjaro).
