This was a claim that was a little over $10,000 because I broke my ankle ten days before our French Polynesia cruise. I mailed the claim form with the documentation on 1/27/16 and had the claim payment checks in hand on 2/11/16 (one for me and one for my wife). They even paid our half of the private transfers (airport-port-airport) that we had scheduled with another couple that we could not cancel (because the other couple still needed the transfers). EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Everything went smoothly and we made no claim. We feel that the peace of mind of having the insurance makes it well worth the price. When traveling in developing countries, as we often do, the medical coverage is especially important to have.

We did not have to file any claims, so we really cannot say how good or bad the InsureAssist TravCan coverage would have been, nor how easy it would have been to file a claim. Probably we will not personally endorse TravCan because of this, as we just don't know the quality of the product and level of customer care. However, we would go with this company again, though, as we assume all would have been handled satisfactorily.

Thankfully, we did not have to use our plan, but I sure felt better having it. It is a nice feeling to know you are covered for getting sick or injured on while on vacation! Will definitely get coverage again when traveling out of the county.

Even though I did not use the insurance, I almost had to cancel at the last minute, and because it was Saturday there was nobody to take my call. Very frustrating
