When the trip was cancelled by the tour Co. we got no $ back except from the tour Co. InsureAssist should have covered some of the cost or made sure we understood that in this case no $ would be refunded.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We contacted InsureAssist on your behalf earlier this year. They explained to us that since the tour operator cancelled the trip, they would be responsible to reimburse you any fees incurred, and that unfortunately, this is not a covered event.
