Once my paperwork was submitted, it was dealt with promptly and professionally. There was one issue which was handled immediately, and then I was paid. I would highly recommend this insurance. I was disappointed to have to cancel my trip, but at least I didn't lose money and have to pay for a trip I didn't take.

Although I didn't have to use the coverage, it gave me a feeling of security in the event I needed trip and/or medical assistance. I would definitely purchase it again on future trips.

Our Mom is 92 years old and doing well but we always worry about her when we travel. InsureMyTrip gives us many options as we travel and peace of mind. Fortunately, we have not had to interrupt a trip or file a claim.

This the second time we bought insurance form InsureMyTrip. I found the process of procuring the insurance fairly easy. No high pressure from the representative, he was very helpful in making my decision, and answering my questions. Should I need trip insurance again, I will most definitely go to this company first. I don't know how they are if a claim is filed. I've had a bad experience in the past with a different company. These folks describe a good process that, if it works as they say, will make the claim process easy.

Our trip was delayed for 3 days due to canceled flights because of a snowstorm. I called the claims dept. to see if we could claim the trip cost , as we were going to miss the first 3 days of the tour and would like to reschedule it for another time. I was told that yes we were covered if flights were canceled for 24 hours but only if the airport was officially closed. Seems like a loophole, as all flights in and out of the airport were canceled but the airport was not "officially closed." They said we could put in a claim under the trip delay coverage which had a limit of $150/day to a maximum of $500 total. This was done and the claim was processed promptly.

Great product for a great price. Although I thankfully didn't need to use, I did have a very informative conversation with a fellow passenger, whose traveling companion had to shell out over $5000+ for a hospital stay in Barbados and then traveling back to the ship when released. It was eye-opening and I will never travel without insurance again.
