The TravCan Premier plan is the higher-end comprehensive trip cost protection plan from InsureAssist as it offers greater coverage limits and more options than the TravCan plan. If you are concerned about any pre-existing medical conditions that might affect your travel, this plan will waive the pre-existing conditions exclusion if purchased within 21 days of the initial trip payment and if the full cost of the trip is insured.

They promptly handled a claim for a missed hotel reservation due to a delayed flight. My complaint is that we were held over in London returning, and had to buy some things for the stay overnight, as our checked luggage was not available. InsureAssist would not cover that claim since it was on a return flight home, and we already had one delayed flight claim, and they did not cover two.

We would like to provide some insight on why the baggage delay claim and second travel delay claim cannot be covered on the policy. It is industry standard that the baggage delay benefit is for outbound flights only. In addition, travel delay coverage is typically provided on a one-time basis per trip. I did not file a claim for this trip, but did for my last trip. Excellent service from the claims representative, and received reimbursement check within 2 weeks. I will continue to use InsureAssist for future trips.

Had to cancel pricey vacation. Filed claim and was reimbursed 70 percent of trip cost as stated in the policy. Well worth the expense.

While the variety of available plans, and comparative features of InsureMyTrip are excellent, and enable user to select the best comparative plan, U.S. insurance is still devilishly expensive compared to the British variety.

As a buying platform, it was super easy to compare similar plans. I would recommend it to any traveler who wants to suppliment their primary health insurance. I bought this policy because I didn't want to be unpleasantly surprised should I have a medical emergency.

Really liked having the coverage while traveling. If there was one thing I would have liked better, it would be having an insurance card instead of several 8 x 11" papers to carry.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. Some travel insurance providers do send insurance cards with their polices, and some do not. We will contact the insurance provider to see if in the future, they can provide insurance cards for their policies.Jan 29,2015
