Terrible. Cruise was canceled and a month after filing the claim, just getting a run around. I've repeatedly sent them 19 pages of documentation and they keep saying I'm missing something. I tell them its right there and give them the page number and then they just ask for something else thats in the same package of documents. You call and they won't give you people's full names and refuse to give an extension number so you can contact them. I'm getting no where and honestly considering hiring an attorney to deal with this.

Didn’t need but certainly glad We had it for traveling post pandemic. The plan provided peace of mind allowing us to travel in Europe following local protocols for safety.

I did not have to make a claim, so I cannot comment on that aspect. But I can say that Insure My Trip was helpful when I called with questions regarding questions, coverage, comparisons. We will be using them for future trips!

Although we did not have to use this insurance, we felt comfortable having it. We saw 2 people removed from our ship due to illness and you just never know if it could be you. Also, with all the terrorists in the world, you never know if you will have to cancel a trip for whatever. Fortunately, it was all smooth sailing and all went well.

We always choose Insure My Trip when we go overseas, the plans offered give us many choices, and we usually save over those offered by the carriers (cruise lines, travel agents). In addition, the plans cover without reducing benefits as the trip nears, unlike many offered by the carriers.

My wife and I purchased travel insurance for our two week trip to Greece. With an elderly mother and all of the crazy things going on in the world, the policy gave us peace of mind that we wouldn't lose our travel investment if something unexpected happened. Didn't have to use it, but it was comforting to have it. We had a near miss when the air traffic controllers staged a 4 hour protest strike in Athens. Fortunately it was a brief stoppage and our flight was only delayed. We were still able to make the connection in NY.
