I had previously purchased this insurance for previous trips. On some of the trips I did have issues where I filed a claim. My claims were verified once the proper paperwork had been filled out and sent in. The claims were professionally and diligently taken care without any hassles. Full reimbursement of the claims amounts were issued in a timely manner. This is why I always will choose Nationwide Mutual insurance for my travel insurance needs. This trip went as planned and no claims were filed.

Thank you Insure My Trip website for making selecting trip insurance easier. We always purchase trip insurance since I have had to use it a couple of times. I did make contact with Insure My Trip with questions after my daughter made a trip to the ER, but we were fortunate to be able to make our vacation plans. Customer support was excellent and the person was able to answer my questions. I feel that Nationwide Essential was the best plan for our family after being able to compare many different plans. Just so happy that I did not need to use it! Thank you!

This was the lowest cost plan available for our needs, and came with great reviews. I was not looking for a 'cancel for any reason' plan, since we were quite locked in and only a medical emergency would have been a reason on our end to cancel. It was only for trip interruption/cancel or medical needs as to why I wanted the travel insurance policy.
Obtaining a quote for the plan was easy via InsureMyTrip and purchasing the policy was similarly seamless.
While we did not have to file a claim, I am certain doing so would have been a positive experience.
It was interesting as to the wide variation of policy costs, and some higher cost plans were from companies with very poor ratings. Do research and dont just assume that higher cost plans mean better plans or companies, because that is likely not the case.
This was my first experience with InsureMyTrip and it was a very positive one. I will be a repeat customer in the future when needing travel insurance.
