We did not have to use the plan during our cruises but one CANNOT risk not having insurance, especially when in other countries. There was a significant price increase from last year for the same plan so guess so many insurance payouts in relation to all the past catastrophic weather events had an effect. This was the best plan for my money that covered the basic elements for my trip. Like all types insurance you are the decision maker, payee and risk taker.

I pulled my groin area the week before we went. I almost had to cancel. Our snorkeling excursions had to be cancelled however they refunded me. You just never know.
