The best insurance is one you don’t have to use. As trip was uneventful we did not need to use it thus I can’t comment on difficulty filing claims but our experience with InsureMyTrip was quick and painless and that’s why I am a repeat customer.

Our trip went pretty smoothly - one flight was cancelled but the airline could re-book us without significant change to schedule, so the insurance was not used. I was very pleasantly surprised to get a reminder email about our plan shortly before we left - Nationwide was engaged and proactive about our purchase - that was awesome.
