I had a trip delay and needed to file a claim. While there's a lot of documentation required, the claim was processed extremely quickly. Nationwide cut the check three business days after I emailed them the documentation and reimbursed all of my stated losses. Make sure you save all your receipts and any evidence of your loss. I wouldn't hesitate to use Nationwide again.

I didn't have to use the plan as my trip went as expected. I did enjoy having a peace of mind as my trip was traveling into hurricane prone area during hurricane season. I also have elderly parents in poor health. I was afraid something with my parents would cause me to cancel at the last minute or during my trip.

Enjoyed another good vacation with peace of mind. Even when delayed at the airport I knew that if the delay was long I was covered.

This plan offers a very thorough policy for a reasonable price. Several other comparable companies offered this coverage at a much higher price or had less coverage. I never vacation without travel insurance as it has paid off for me on 2 occasions, saving me thousands on trips I had to cancel.
