This plan didn't cover trip delay or interruption which we experience in Mexico. Our flight was cancelled and we had to stay in a hotel for the night and take the flight the next day. Also I didn't cover covid related expenses. So if we tested positive and had to isolate for 7-10 days this plan will not reimburse for those costs.

Run, don't walk from this company. They seem great as long as you don't file a claim. I filed a claim and 3 months later, no resolution. Little communication, no updates. You call and can't actually speak to anyone in the claims department. You can leave a message and a customer service rep will call you back in a day or two, with little information other than "it might be another month or so." Mind you, the claim is for about $7,000, not $500,000+. We had the doctors and admin staff speak directly with Seven Corners while I was in the hospital, submitted all documents requested a half a dozen times - itemized bills, receipts of payment - everything. My primary US based health insurer processed the submission and sent an EOB (which Seven Corners needed) quickly and pretty effortlessly. This has been the total opposite experience of adding misery and headaches following a mishap overseas. The exact reason I purchased travel insurance was to have a firm specializing in this to move quickly. This has been a joke for three months and counting. Pay a little more and use a firm that doesn't make cable companies look efficient and customer-focused.

Easy purchase. Great price. The information was emailed instantly and we used the letter of certificate to obtain the visa we needed to enter internationally.

During these uncertain times, it's comforting to have medical coverage for my trip to a foreign country. The peace of mind is totally worth it.

We traveled out of the US just as coronavirus spread was beginning to make news. I have never purchased medical insurance for a trip before. Being able to find and tailor coverage for our specific needs made this very economical, and the process couldn’t have been easier, information Provided was clear and comprehensive. I’ll use them again.

I didn't have to file a claim with Seven Corners during my trip, but I had some annoyances with them that would lead me to recommend using a different company. Firstly, they did not send me a confirmation email of my plan. Yes, I checked my spam/trash folders. I had to contact them just to have them send me my travel insurance card to print. Secondly, they had no issues sending me multiple emails warning me that my plan was going to expire and asked me to renew. Well, of course it's going to expire because I only had a 2 week plan! I can only assume they are usually in the business for long term insurance plans and don't really have themselves set up properly for customers with short travel insurance plans.

Thank you for your review. Seven Corners has provided the following response: "We’re glad to hear your trip went well, and we are sorry you did not receive a purchase confirmation. We routinely provide purchase confirmation emails with a link to our insurance ID cards for each purchase made. As far as renewal emails, we send those at preset intervals to remind people they can extend their plan if they would like. We find that customers often need to do this."
