We had to return home from overseas due to a family health issue. My husband and I were reimbursed for our added travel expenses and forfeited deposits. Be sure to save all receipts, however, as some expenses where in our haste we forgot to get receipts, were not reimbursed.

Really only one thing to add -- the fact that I had this health insurance eased my way through the thorny and expensive Russian visa process. They would like to know that if you get seriously ill in Russia, they won't be stuck with the bill.

I bought this plan as trip protection insurance ( in case I couldn't make the flight d/t illness etc). but when I arrived at my destination (Russia and Georgia) I was pleased that it also included health insurance coverage because I spent a lot of time in private automobiles and the way a number of people drove had me always concerned I could be in an accident.
While I had no illness or injury I was comforted by the fact I was protected!

Great coverage for the money. this is the second time i used this company, and i will remain to use them on future trips. i went to spain this year and didnt get insurance from them. i got very sick from food born illness and was scared to death because i had no coverage. its really worth the peace of mind.

I would not recommend b/c the only covered I could get was for medical at my age, 68 at the time of trip. Wanted trip interruption as well. I would suggest that looking at age on lt excludes many healthy, strong and able people. Look at other factors, I take no medications at all and am a runner, just completed Ultimate Hike-28.3 miles Appalachian Foothills Trail in 11 hours with no problems at all and hiked mountains in Mongolia on this trip. You have very good service, just need to extend coverage for seniors who are not at any risk!
