Travel insurance prices have GREATLY increased since COVID. We always get the travel insurance for large trips like this safari but this year the costs of the travel insurance have increased significantly.
We have only put in a claim for travel insurance 1x in a dozen safari trips to Africa (and that was for only a mere $100 +/- claim for a hotel when our flight was delayed). At over $2600 for the insurance we could have put that money aside for a future trip. I think the price has gotten out of hand. Not sure if I will continue to use travel insurance in the future - or maybe I will use it only for a fraction of the trip costs.

InsureMyTrip provided me with an excellent representative to discuss my complicated trip to South Africa with my 2 sisters. The Rep Kathy was through and very patient with me, explaining all my options. By the end of the transaction I felt I knew exactly what my coverage was, I was confident that the insurance covered the 3 of us traveling together, and I could breathe easier knowing we had our backs covered. I will definitely use Insure MyTrip for upcoming travel.

Gratefully, I did not need to use this plan on my trip to Africa. However, the coverage was similar to that offered by the tour company for approximately 1/3 less money.

I am a world traveler for over 30 years and this was my first experience with your company. I found your customer service representatives to be very unprofessional and I feel your company is unethical in its practices. Purchasing trip insurance from your company was a total waste of time and money. I filed a claim and was treated like a second class citizen for doing so.

We are very sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the service that you received from CF Travel Insured when trying to report a claim. Upon receiving your review, we did try to contact you for more information so that we could assign an "Anytime Advocate" who would support you in the claims process especially if you believe a claim has been unfairly denied, but you did not reply.
