I bought this insurance with the cancel for any reason policy. It would only give 75% refund for any reason. I had a medical excuse for which I needed to cancel,however I had to jump through hoops for them to cover for a medical reason.I finally received a 100% refund but It was not easy. In the end I probably Would Not purchase this insurance again. I would make sure I could get a credit from the airlines and the hotel is refundable.

I am giving it 5 stars because it provides coverage for everything I was looking for at a reasonable price. However, since I didn’t have to put in a claim, it is difficult to judge how supportive and responsive the company would be which is what truly separates a good insurance plan from a bad one.

I tried to call the toll free number to inquire about a claim and it was a non-working number. I resorted to a live chat online and they told me to call the toll free number, which wasn't in service. Fortunately, I did not end up having to file a claim which was a good thing since I could not call the toll free number.

Hopefully I don't have to use this insurance, but in case you need one this one have good coverage for reasonable price. If you looking for one I would recommend this one. Have a peace of mind that you cover in case something happen specially if you are international traveler.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The Travel Insured Worldwide Trip Protector offers a Waiver of Pre-Existing Conditions Exclusion if:
a) Your Payment for this Policy and enrollment form are received within 21 days of the date Your initial Payment or Deposit for Your Trip is received; and
b) You insure all Prepaid Trip costs that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions and also insure within 21 days of the Payment or Deposit for those Travel Arrangements the cost of any subsequent Travel Arrangements (or any other Travel Arrangements not made through Your travel agent) added to Your Trip; and
c) You are not disabled from travel at the time Your premium is paid.

Although we regret to hear that you were dissatisfied with your claim experience, we are pleased to hear that you received reimbursement under Trip Cancellation for 100% of your prepaid non-refundable travel expenses. Cancel for Any Reason may have appeared to have a shorter turnaround time but you would have been reimbursed for only 75% of your penalties.
