Biggest scam ever. I’ve now informed others that travel insurance is very limiting. Explained that even with CDC concerns in regards to flight travel to Asian countries, I would’ve ONLY been covered had I traveled and become quarantined....false securities is all travel insurance is.

Was a total waste of money. Was in Asia for a month and the cost to visit a state of the art hospital in Thailand was under $25.00 including the prescription for a UTI, one of my friends had to go so I know. My travel plan cost me $116.00 for 30 days. Best to find out what medical is like in the countries your visiting before springing for travel insurance.

The Travelex Basic policy that you purchased has multiple benefits in addition to the medical coverage, such as Trip Interruption, Trip Delay, Baggage, and more. Which you were also eligible for while you were on your trip. While we are happy to hear that everything was taken care of for your trip to the hospital and that your expenses were minimal, there are many times where insured’s experience a covered event that is above and beyond what they can reasonably afford while traveling. All seemed fine. It seemed like the best plan. I liked that a lot of the important insurance policies were primary not secondary. Never had to use it.

The insurance plan met all my requirements, was reasonably price when compared to other plans.
It was easy to do online which was great and so much more less time consuming. If you had any
questions you could always call a representative of the company.

Fortunately we did not have to use the plan, so do not know how satisfied we would be if we had to use it?
Overall, I feel that the plan is on the expensive side, would like to see it 25% less than what I paid for. Will look harder for better value in my next trip.

Travelex calculates their Comprehensive plan premiums based on trip cost and the age of the travelers at the time of purchase. Please note that Travelex also offers a Basic plan that is less expensive than the Select plan. Although the Basic plan has lower limits than the Select plan, it is still underwritten by the Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance which has a A++ AM Best Rating.Nov 16,2018
