This insurance was to cover a trip to Turkey for my grandaughter's 16th birthday present. Due to the recent terrorist activity in Turkey I changed the trip to Peru. I incurred cancellation fees as well as other upcharges due to the last minute changes. I inquired as to at least getting the airline cancellation fees reimbursed and was told that due to the fact that I was travelling within the same time frame I was not entitled to any reimbursement.

I thought this was an excellent plan for people whose credit card and medical insurance leave gaps in coverage. I will probably use this plan in the future for it covered all our needs.
