It took Anthem Blue Cross 91 days to process my claim. Travel Insured managed that feat in 3 days. Good service!

We called the emergency number while we were on our trip to get information about medical services. The representative was extremely courteous and helpful. When we returned we filed a claim on this policy for medical expenses and trip interruption. The agency processed the claim efficiently and we had our reimbursement checks in a very timely manner. We would use this company again without hesitation.

I filed a claim for delayed baggage. My luggage was stuck in Moscow customs and never made it to me in Siberia, forcing me to buy clothes to make it through the trip. All of the documentation I submitted - from the lost baggage claim to all of the purchase receipts - were in Russian so I was unsure if my claim would be accepted. It was!!!! Today I received a check for the maximum allowed amount specified in the policy. I will use John Hancock on my next overseas trip!

I have no idea if this plan was of value or not, not having tested it. I am glad I had something to back up my worries, but obviously they were unfounded (my problem, not yours.)
HOWEVER- I did find the purchase, finding the information, and the updating of money spent to be one of the most confusing tasks! I recommend you streamline your not-user-friendly website.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my trip to Russia and canceled the insurance I had purchased. Since it was within the 14 day review period, I was told the full premium would be refunded, and I am now waiting for the refund to show on my credit card statement.
Working with Insure My Trip was helpful and pleasant. The agent was patient and took the time to answer all of my questions and to work with me to determine the appropriate plan for my situation. The plan seemed to provide the coverage I wanted and the cost was reasonable. I would use Insure MyTrip again if insurance were needed.
If a Customer Care representative cares to contact me, I would be willing to talk with that person.
