I broke my arm in Morocco and needed surgery. The claim process was a bit complicated but I did receive compensation for the medical part. Unfortunately, I needed transportation to rejoin my group and that was not covered. Overall I was happy with the results. Another complication was that I had another travel insurance policy for my trip to Costa Rica and the 2 plans got mixed up. It was resolved after about 30 minutes on the phone.

Due to the war on Israel our planned trip was cancelled two months prior to when we were scheduled to go. IMG refused to refund any dollars. I find this unacceptable and therefore will let everyone I know to NOT insure with this company!

Once I actually filed the claim, the process went very smoothly. I received email confirmation when you got my claim forms, and once they were processed. My check arrived very quickly. However, I was never able to get the online claim website to work at all. It took several very frustrating phone calls over the course of a week to finally get someone who was willing to e-mail the necessary claim forms to me. Your customer service people need customer service training!

The small print said the claim didn’t cover countries at war. Well, Israel wasn’t at war when I bought the policy. The war started because of a terrorist act which was covered by my policy. I’m very dissaisfied.
