Thankfully I didn't need to use the coverage of the plan, but I felt both the terms and cost of the plan were excellent. insuremytrip is a great tool to ensure you get appropriate coverage for good value. In addition, I called a couple times with questions; each time my questions were addressed thoroughly and knowledgably.

With your policy of not returning funds for a trip that was cancelled months in advance (even before payment was due on the cruise ship) is just a complete rip off.
ESPECIALLY for repeat customers. Be assured you have lost our business and anyone we used to refer to you in the future. The worst customer service I have ever received. I don't even know how you are still in business but I can assure you that from me alone over a lifetime of cruising that you are losing $1,000's of dollars. Now add in our friends and referrals? We all be cruising the Mediterranean this summer and will happily NOT be using YOU. I would say yes to the box below on contacting me but you ignored my request for months to call me back about this issue so I know it is a joke. You don't even have customer service!

    "All premium is non-refundable after a 10 day review period."

    After reviewing your request to cancel the policy for a refund of premium, the Underwriter stood by the terms and conditions of the policy.

The cost of this plan went up by over $100 since last year when I didn't file a claim either. No discount for loyalty then. I will check premiums more carefully before I renew again.

AIG Travel Guard MedEvac Per Trip Plan
I would like to be able to get trip interruption coverage for these kind of trips in addition to medevac coverage, but the additional cost is just too much. The cost for this medevac coverage was doable, so we were happy to have that at least ... and happy that we didn't need to use it! Fortunately, we made all of our connections and the trip was fantastic, so we were lucky ... this time.

Thanks to the blizzard in the northeast and all flights home cancelled ,we had to stay in Disney World two extra nights. After calling CSA and hearing that we had coverage for trip extension,we were able to relax and make the best of it.The agent on the phone explained our coverage ,what we needed to have such as receipts for food, hotel, transportation and how to file when we returned home. The claim was easy to file and we were paid promptly for the hotel and meals we were not expecting to have until we could get back home.
