Called John Hancock Claims on Peru trip needed urgent claims info. Long wait on hold that cost me $$ on my International Calling Plan, transferred to another Dept., Representative took my info and said they would call me back. No RSVP!!

My wife and I were fortunate to not need to test the coverage of this insurance travel plan.
But it was comforting to know that during our trip to Peru and Ecuador there was a reputable insurance company ready to assist us.

I purchased this plan for a trip to Peru with my daughter. We hiked to Machu Picchu and thankfully did not have to use this plan but we feel this plan provided adequate coverage.

We are low risk and I think you should ask more question so that people who are frail, inexperienced travelers or doing high risk activities would pay more than experienced, healthy and normal travelers.
