Seven Corners Liaison International (With US Visit)

The Seven Corners Liaison International plan with a U.S. Visit is only available to non-U.S. residents who are visiting the United States. This plan offers medical coverage and emergency services for trips up to 45 days long.

This plan does not offer any travel-related benefits for trip cancellation or trip delay, however it does have limited benefits for trip interruption due to covered reasons as well as baggage loss protection.

With this plan, you may customize the benefits to fit your needs by choosing a medical limit and a deductible. For travelers under the age of 80, medical limits are available ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000. Traveler’s 80-years-old or more have a maximum medical limit of $15,000. There are several deductible options ranging from $0 to $2,500, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your budget.

This plan also offers an optional hazardous activity rider, offering coverage for activities such as hang gliding, skiing, or bungee jumping. This will help to expand the medical coverage to include injuries that occur while taking part in these activities.

This plan has a pre-existing condition look-back period of 36 months for travel within the U.S. and Canada. For non-U.S. citizens traveling to the US up to age 69, an acute onset of a pre-existing condition (defined in the plan) is covered up to $15,000 for medical expenses and $25,000 for emergency medical evacuation. This plan includes coinsurance, meaning that after you pay the deductible, the plan pays 80% of the next $5,000 of eligible expenses, then 100% to your medical maximum.

We were very pleased with help of your agents, however the Ins. Company Seven Corners emailed us the night before departure about a change in network providers effective during our trip overseas which negated all of our research and printed id cards. Furthermore the new info would not be available until we were already overseas. Instead of having peace of mind while on vacation, we got to learn who and where the new providers were and hunt down a printer for our new id cards and info. This caused some anxiety and apprehension. Not what we paid for. The untimely notification from the carrier was unacceptable, however the service provided by insuremytrip was fine.

I did not file a claim, no I cannot really say much about the service.
