The Seven Corners Liaison Travel Plus plan is available to travelers whose itineraries do not include travel within the United States. In addition, travelers must travel outside of their home country. This plan, like the Liaison Basic plan, offers customizable options for emergency medical coverage as well as customizable deductible amounts. However, the Plus plan offers higher amounts of coverage for lost baggage, trip interruption, terrorism, etc. This plan is available for travelers up to age 74, with limited medical options for travelers between the ages of 65-74.
What makes this plan stand out is that it includes a benefit that covers medical expenses if you become ill with COVID-19. This COVID-19 Treatment benefit covers up to the medical maximum or $100,000; whichever is less, in medical expenses for COVID-19, SARS-Cov-2, and any mutation or variation of SARS-CoV-2. Coverage for other illnesses and injuries is provided up to the medical maximum you select when you buy the plan.
Additionally, Liaison Travel Plus includes $500,000 for emergency medical evacuation and repatriation to transport you to a medical facility with appropriate care, if medically necessary. This plan has a lookback period for pre-existing conditions of 1 year for those traveling outside of the U.S. In addition, there is coverage for an unexpected recurrence of a pre-existing condition (defined in the plan) for U.S. residents traveling outside the United States. The benefit maximum will vary by age.
There is also an optional coverage for the more adventurous traveler that includes coverages for activities such as snowmobiling, spelunking, wakeboard riding, water skiing, windsurfing, or zip lining. Please read the plan documents for explanation of the full description of coverage.
