C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
Purchase this insurance for a recent trip to Canada, on our way back we had a +6 hour delay and I made a claim for expenses (meals, charger etc; ~ $105.00 USD). Submitted all the documentation on January 12th and it has been more than 19 BUSINESS DAYS without a response (25 calendar days), even though they say it takes around 15 business days to process. No communication has been received, terrible customer service, do not buy!

UPDATE: After 8 months Insuremytrip did follow up. The claim ($102) was paid but only after the bad review above was posted. Anyway, I stand with what I said before, terrible service and the process should have been either faster and/or with more communication on their part.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold
We filed a claim after our infant daughter became ill on the eve of travel and we had to cancel the trip. AIG covered our claim, which was for non refundable lodging and the airline cancellation fee. Overall I was satisfied with the experience. My only complaints were that it took 2.5 months for the claim to be processed- I’m guessing part of this delay was due to the COVID pandemic, though. The other issue was that I did not receive any communication about the claim until I received a check in the mail. I did periodically check their website, but it would have been nice to get an email once the claim was approved. Overall, though, it was a fine experience and I would use it again.

I tried calling you to cancel the insurance because I had to cancel my trip due to coronavirus; no one answering my calls. Very disappointed with your company. Would not use it again or recommend it.

We traveled out of the US just as coronavirus spread was beginning to make news. I have never purchased medical insurance for a trip before. Being able to find and tailor coverage for our specific needs made this very economical, and the process couldn’t have been easier, information Provided was clear and comprehensive. Tokio Marine HCC Medical Insurance Atlas International
We go to Canada regularly since both my wife and I have family living there. This is the first time we acquired health insurance for the visit but we are getting a bit older plus the risk of an accident always loomed over our heads. My wife was determined that I would take care of it and I found https://www.insuremytrip.com/ which is a site you need to make a bookmark. The Tokio Marine HCC Medical insurance was very easy purchased, had all the coverage we needed and eliminated any concerns we had about needing medical insurance while in Canada. Definitely will be purchasing again for our next trip.

Yes everything seemed reasonable for the price but the only way to know how good the coverage really works out is if you have to file a claim. Fortunately I did not have to file a claim but I feel it is only then that you would find out how good the coverage is that you had selected.
