Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential
I purchased the Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company Essential plan as travel insurance coverage for my trip to Portugal. The process to obtain travel insurance was simple and convenient. Thankfully, I did not need to file a claim, but I felt good knowing I had coverage in the event of an incident.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
I filed a simple claim for a one night stay in Madrid. Genarli denied the claim with no statement as to why. It now 12/31/23 and they have yet to respond to my appeal. Furthermore, there is no human being to speak with. DON’T use them for travel insurance.

GeoBlue Voyager Choice
I followed your instructions when we got sick while traveling. I called your 24/7 phone number NINE TIMES, and there was no answer. I emailed you, desperate for assistance in being seen by a doctor/getting medical attention in the area. It took you SIX DAYS TO RESPOND TO MY EMAIL asking for help. We had already left the country we were in, and spent 7 hours in an emergency room in a foreign country. You are non-responsive. I want a refund. We paid for nothing. Your service is total garbage. You should seriously consider refunding my $250. It was a complete waste of money. Our ER bill was less than our deductible, so we could not even file a claim. Your policy is a joke of a product. It's ridiculous.

For the most part every time I travel I use ensure my trip coverage plans. And I'm grateful that I did not have to use it but I would recommend it to friends and family cuz I feel it provide the coverage that I need at a reasonable price.

Your cost is very high along with most companies that offer travel insurance. You're getting rich off those of us that feel we must get trave insurance with all the airline issues in the world. Glad I didn't have a problem. My friend did and says it's a pain putting together all the receipts, etc. to file a claim.
