C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
My trip was interrupted by my companions contracting Covid. I had to leave two days early. My airline charged over $500 to change my ticket, while my companions on a different airline actually got small refunds on their ticket changes. My insurance covered the increased cost of my return air ticket. The claim process took about six weeks.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Choice Cruise
Nationwide was willing to move this policy from a cruise in January 2022 which we cancelled to a cruise in April 2022. I really appreciate this great customer focus.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
This policy gave my wife and me peace of mind during our recent international trip to Italy. Traveling in these Covid times with numerous bureaucratic tests, retests, mandatory forms, countless inspections, tight border controls, etc. is HIGHLY STRESSFUL. While the insurance coverage gave us some peace of mind during this trip, we now question why we even bother with international travel. Traveling is not fun.
There is no coordination among the airlines and the so-called political leaders are not leading. I fear that the travel industry is needlessly doomed.

Trawick International Safe Travels Voyager
The most important aspect for us was the plan covered COVID-19 the same as any other medical emergency. Also, the plan provides a certificate to show when entering any country requiring evidence of COVID-19 insurance coverage.

Luckily I dd not need to file a claim. Eight people in my travel group tested positive for Covid-19, one had to be hospitalized. I am not sure that my insurance premium would have covered the additional expenses. Did it?
