We ended up choosing M.H. Ross because, when we first contracted with a different insurer, it was not clear how the time limit for pre-existing medical conditions was calculated. InsureMyTrip could help with this by highlighting how this calculation is performed by each insurer. We did not need to file a claim. Our limited experience with M.H. Ross was completely satisfactory.

We have traveled internationally quite a bit and only recently have begun to buy travel insurance. We have never had any incidents in which we needed to file a claim until our last trip. I can only rate it with five stars because I didn't have to use it! The real test would be if I had needed it and it either was sufficient or insufficient. But I am HAPPY that all went well and that I did not need it - the peace of mind was worth the price.

Writing a review when you do not have to make a claim is worthless. I bought the policy because it provided the coverage I wanted at a comparatively reasonable price. What is really important is how difficult it is to make a claim and how efficiently the company processes it. Fortunately we did not have to make a claim so I cannot comment on the most important aspect of the coverage and company.
