AXA Assistance USA Gold
Filed the claim immediately upon the return of the trip for a delay at the beginning of the trip. From time of filing claim until received reimbursement it took, 62 days. All of the information was provided at the time of the claim. No additional information was requested. Movement on the claim only happened when I contacted AXA. Originally said that the review would be completed in 30 days (actually took 35 after I contacted on day 32). The claim was approved and instructed that the check would be received in 10-15 business days. On day 16 contacted AXA, and it took another 10 business days to have the check processed and received. Again, this only occurred after I contacted AXA and it took at least 4 more calls before they processed the check.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold
I was really ready to go on vacation. Was to be with my brother and sister-in-law. But in October I had back surgery, which healed nicely before the trip. But other factors came into play so I was unable to go on trip. I was tremendously upset.
But filing a claim was easy, the representative gave me the information and help I needed to file.
The doctor sent/faxed info and I sent mine as well. I had my refund in about 10 days total from start to finish.
I would highly reccomend AIG to any and all who travel. It's the smart thing to do, ask me.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Lite
I fortunately had no need to file a claim. I felt far more secure having purchase insurance before the trip just in case I should have needed to use it. The agent I worked with was excellent and thoroughly researched what I might need and not need.

Allianz Global Assistance OneTrip Basic
I made a claim and it has finally been paid. There was, what I consider, poor communications by Allianz through their website during the claims process. The claim directions for submitting documents were confusing. For example, the form to be submitted by my physician was listed under "other". I had to make multiple calls to Allianz to try to figure out why my claim was stuck in "processing" for a couple of weeks.

Nevertheless, the insurance coverage was adequate and I would consider using them again.

I had my 80 birthday on our cruise and at that age you never know what can happen regarding your health. We had the best plan for us just in case, but we thankfully we did not have to use it. We felt better safe than sorry. We were on a cruise with someone who did not have insurance and he had a heart attack and had to be taken off the ship near Puerto Rico and it wound up costing them a lot of money. Thankfully he survived.

TravelSafe Classic
On the return trip my luggage did not arrive at my final destination. The airline said it was delayed and would be delivered to my home within 24 hours. When that did not happen and I could not get any info from the airline on my luggage, I called TravelSafe Customer Service for assistance.Customer Service number got me the Claims Dept. The employee was nice but told me they could not help me unless the luggage went missing during the trip. Once I was at the originating airport,they were unable to help even though they had a company that specialized in locating missing bags.Only advice was wait a few days and if it is not located,file a claim. My luggage was located and returned to me therefore no claim was needed. It was disappointing that TravelSafe had the ability to help locate the luggage but would not use it since I had returned home yet my luggage had not.
