As far as the cost and coverage I am quite satisfied and will use you guys again for our next overseas trip. To really rate your company I would have to see how a claim would be handled (which thankfully was not necessary). It was nice to know that I did have coverage if it was needed.

AXA Assistance USA Gold
Trip insurance is very expensive in light of the time used. Being retired those extra cost are not needed on a very limited budget. We have no health issues, but we pay the same amount as everyone else. Duh!

This plan strikes a nice balance between coverage levels and cost. The true test, of course, is filing a claim, which we fortunately did not need to do. However, I did file a claim back in 2014 and it was processed quickly and with little hassle.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Lite
We purchased a policy online for an upcoming trip. When I called to ask about the policy I was just told it was a good policy and what I needed to travel out of the country. Due to an unforeseen medical condition we were forced to cancel our trip. I filed a claim right away following all instructions given to file the claim. Imagine my surprise when the claim was denied. Apparently ours was one of the excluded reasons in fine print 20 pages into the policy booklet. I feel this company was deceitful and not helpful. They were willing to take my money for the policy but not willing to reimburse me.
BUYER BE WARE!

Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing customercare@insuremytrip.com, explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.

since we didn't need to use the coverage we purchased, it's hard to evaluate the plan fully. It seemed expensive to us, but the peace of mind it brought was of value to us.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
We, thankfully, had no need to file any claim on our travels; but, knowing that we were covered made our trip more relaxing. Also, I neglected to get insurance early on, and only remembered maybe a week before we left, but it was still okay to do so.
I appreciate that.
