Travelex Flight Insure Plus
The application form does not seem to allow one to come back and edit travel date changes. So my question is; if the initial insurance dates are specified and due to unforeseen circumstances, one leg of the journey has a date change, does that nullify insurance?

    Thank you for your feedback on the policy. There is a way to adjust your dates of travel if you entered them in incorrectly during the quote process. When you are on the purchase page, click on the 'update quote' button on the top right hand side of the page. When purchasing your policy you would insure from the date you leave your home until you return to your home. If those dates change prior to your originally scheduled departure date, you would call InsureMyTrip to update your policy.
    If dates change involuntarily after your effective date you have the following coverage:

    "All coverages under the plan will be extended if your entire Covered Trip is covered by the plan and your return is delayed by unavoidable circumstances beyond your control.
    If coverage is extended for the above reasons, coverage will end on the earlier of the date you reach your originally scheduled return destination or seven (7) days after the Scheduled Return Date.
    In no event will coverage be extended due to voluntary reasons without prior consent from Travelex Insurance Services."

I am happy not to have needed the plan. But at my age (80) it is something I will never hesitate to use when travelling.

HTH Worldwide Trip Protector Preferred
Communication with the company over the email connections did not work. Tryed at least 7 to 9 times to reset password. Never did get it to work. Called the company directly, and they requested information that was not needed, and had to resend duplicate paperwork. In the end, I mailed well over 25 documents, some more than once. Finally on about the 3rd call, I walked step by step our claim. At that point, lady made more notes, but it took an additional couple of weeks to get paid. Should not have been that hard, during this difficult process, I would have liked HTH to call me, instead of their web mail, which I could not get to work. In the end, I got about 90% of what I claimed, so I guess that is ok.

Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing customercare@insuremytrip.com, explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.

    Hello and thank you for your feedback. Your original claim was received via postal mail in March and we requested additional documentation after it was reviewed. We received your additional documents and the claim was reprocessed in the beginning of April. Our claims turnaround time is 3-4 weeks from when the documents are received.
