C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
Got sick on the cruise wanted to see the ships doctor but was afraid to use the policy to do this as I didn't wish to pay up front and hope that I would get paid back. I had a cold and the usuall remidies were not relieving my aches and pains and stop my caugh. Didn't think a cold would be covered.

    We are sorry to learn of the sickness you suffered during your trip. The C+F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector plan provides coverage up to 100,000 USD per person for an accidental injury or unforeseen sickness.

    Any travel insurance benefits will typically be received on a reimbursement basis, so you’ll be responsible for paying your costs out of pocket and saving your receipts. This plan has secondary coverage – that is, they offer benefits beyond your primary medical insurance coverage.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential
I did not file a claim during this trip, but I did it at my previous trip. Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company did a great job. Service was professional and quick. All representatives were helpful and very professional.

CSA Travel Protection Custom
I left for my trip 4/4/17 but did not get my luggage until 4/8/17. Despite the inconvenience, the airline did not offer any kind of compensation. I called CSA to report that and was asked if I had bought any items that I needed during the period that my luggage was amiss. When I said no, I was simply told: "We are sorry for the inconvenience". What do you think about that?

    Thank you for your feedback on the policy. We are sorry to learn that your baggage was delayed.

    Your policy does include Baggage Delay benefits. Receipts and documentation are required to
    support a claim. Unfortunately, travel insurance does not cover the inconvenience of having a Baggage Delay.

    Below is the coverage that you have on your CSA plan.

    'We will reimburse you, up to the amount shown in the Schedule, for the cost of reasonable additional clothing and personal articles purchased by you, if your Baggage is delayed for 24 hours or more during your Trip. We will
    reimburse you up to the amount shown in the Schedule for expenses incurred during your Trip to locate/track your
    delayed Baggage, and to retrieve your delayed Baggage or to have your delayed Baggage delivered to you. We
    will also reimburse you for the cost to launder your clothing during the time your Baggage is delayed.'

It would have improved my peace of mind if I had purchased the pre-existing condition coverage. My husband became ill after three days of a twenty-three day trip and it was related to his COPD, so he essentially had no medical coverage for that illness. Next time I'll be wiser.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Plus
We had to use the cancel for any reason part of our plan. It was a little complicated collecting all the proof but not too bad. They did ask for one more piece of proof but then paid our claim promptly. They reminded me when I hadn't filed in 45 days which I felt was very kind. Overall I would use them again.

Although we did not file a claim, it was very nice to have such good coverage for an excellent price. Your policy covered both my husband and me for a 16 day trip with better benefits than the policy the auto club was trying to sell us which was
40% more. Your claims adjuster was kind enough to explain the benefits for me, before I purchased the policy and I would definitely buy a policy from you again for our next cruise.
