CSA Travel Protection Custom
Although the fine print of the policy would eliminate my claim, I must emphasize that the coverage such as Trip Delays are very limited and failed to pay for late receipt of luggage by the airline during transfer and clearance through customs. This cost us over $300 and was excluded by the coverage. One previous claim was also not paid by CSA and this makes me question their real concern for fair coverage of the client versus their desire for greater profit as a company. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND EVERY WORD OF THE COVERAGE BEFORE ENROLLING.

To further help ensure customer satisfaction, we also offer a free look back period with all of our plans to allow customers to cancel their policies within a designated period as long as they haven't already left on their trip or filed a claim. Unfortunately, the plan you purchased is not able to provide coverage for every event that might cause your trip to be interrupted or delayed, though it does include approximately 20 different covered events that can qualify for Trip Interruption coverage and approximately 10 different covered events that can qualify for Travel Delay coverage (depending on your state of residence). We understand your trip was delayed due to receiving your luggage late in your connecting city. Unfortunately this is not a covered reason for either coverage. HTH Worldwide Trip Protector Classic
We always purchase travelers insurance but never had to use it until now. HTH Worldwide employees were professional, kind and did a great job in letting me know what information they needed to process our claim. Joseph was especially helpful and even was able to help with retrieving needed information. Our trip was booked on line for air and apartments in Italy, so it was a little more difficult but after a little work, we did get what was needed. HTH reimbursed us for all of our expenses. I will definitely use them again.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Prime
Although I rated the Nationwide plan as providing the coverage that I wanted at a good price and was completely satisfied, I had no reason to file a claim. Accordingly, my satisfaction with the plan and its coverage is entirely untested.

I purchased the policy through insuremytrip.com for a 30 day trip to Italy. It was for emergency medical care and evacuation/repatriation. Having the policy provided peace of mind during our trip. We fortunately did not have to file a claim but I felt the money was well spent.
