Allianz Global Assistance Basic
I filed a very simple claim (airfare only), but I was still surprised at the swift satisfaction of the claim. I had a little problem with the on-line claim process, but I called customer support and the woman I spoke to was very helpful. The claim was fulfilled in about 8 business days and I received a check four days later. Very pleased.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Lite
For many years I have routinely purchased travel insurance for major trips, and I've never needed to file a claim until now. About 8 weeks before the start of a particularly arduous trip, I found myself in an emergency room and, then, in limbo as I waited for results of more and more tests. I decided not to embark, and C&F could not have made it easier for me to efficiently gather all the information they needed from my doctor and my travel company. Submitting any kind of claim is onerous in the best of times, but C&F kept me informed at each step of review and promptly refunded all my major expenditures. I was impressed.

Allianz Global Assistance Basic
Our doctor's office made a mistake on the original claim submission, so we received partial payment. His response made it look like we had not cancelled the trip immediately upon getting medical advice to do so. When the doctor's office corrected their information, the balance of the payment was received.
The submission took place during a time of high claim activity (fires in California) so payment was a little slow, however given the circumstances, the company did an excellent job, and we were pleased with the outcome.
