I filed my claim on 2/25/20 and turned in all requested documents on 3/19/20.
I didn't receive any updates on the status of my claim until 5/14/20 when it was updated on the claim status website. I had sent emails and tried calling (without success since there was a 2 hours waiting time, and I left my call back number when requested, but no one would call back) several times.
Little disappointed about how long it took to process the claim. More than that, that I didn't receive updates during this time.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Lite
We missed our scheduled connection at CDG by 8 minutes. As a result, our flight to NAP was delayed 12 hours. We filed a modest claim along with required supporting documentation for the extra costs (~$150) we incurred due to the long delay and our full claim was paid within thirty days of submission. While the insurance contract contains many limitations and exceptions, and the supporting claim documentation required was not insignificant, we would recommend this travel insurance company based on our positive experience. They are a reputable business.

Generali Global Assistance Preferred
I purchased a plan on January 29th, but after the initial coronavirus outbreak at the end of February, and prior to any quarantines in Italy, we rebooked our planned trip to go to a destination outside of Europe. Every hotel and the airlines provided immediate support - but I could not get in contact with Generali for over two weeks. I tried phone calls (where I was told there would be call backs within 3 hours) and emails (with no responses). Even InsureMyTrip could not get a response from Generali (on at least 5 different attempts through our March 6 departure). I ended up buying a backup emergency evacuation plan from another vendor on March 6 because "it was too late to duplicate the original plan with another vendor because of the timing of our new departure." I finally heard from Generali with a revision confirmation letter on March 9 "confirming our policy" with no evidence of the actual destination. Because of this experience, I feel it necessary to avoid Generali for all intents and purposes in the future.

Due to coronavirus airline cancelled our tickets to Italy, so we lost excursions and train tickets. Called the insurance company, explained the situation, girl was very snotty and rude, no help whatsoever!!!

TravelSafe Classic
We missed our flight from LGA to BNA on the return, but SWA cancelled our flight and we were not contacted even though we had asked to take an earlier flight and were in the airport as the flight was leaving. We were later booked on the first flight out the following morning but had to stay in a hotel over night and got home the next day. That part was disappointing.
I did get a reply from SWA and they are going to issue us vouchers for the problems created with the missed flights.
