I did not need any services provided by this insurance, so I don’t really know how well Nationwide services a claim. But, the price was competitive with others, and the fact that you are located in the same state I live in, made me feel more comfortable.

Unfortunately, while I was in Cuba, I got sick. I reached out for support and it was pretty lackluster. The representative mentioned there are two doctors but he wasn’t sure what their specialty was or if they were taking patients. I very much felt like I was stuck in Cuba with no support.
Since being home, I’ve attempted to contact the claims department twice by phone and once by email and still haven’t heard anything.

Atlas Journey Economy
While in Cuba on day 3 both of us tested positive for COVID. We were isolated in a Cuban hospital without any way to communicate due to language barriers, limited Wi-Fi, or Internet. Even though I got through to someone they never responded. I called 4 times. They did nothing to help us. Each call cost $2.99/minute. The bill will be hundreds of dollars for calls that did give us any support.
