The plan almost covered everything I would have needed covered, just not 100%. Thank goodness I did not need to make any sort of a claim, but lastly, I wish the rates were not so high. I'm sure so many more people would get this coverage, if it was more affordable. It is definitely not cheap. But glad I had it.

InsureMyTrip is simple to sign up for. We didn’t sign up soon enough to be eligible for all the benefits I wanted; I’d suggest that it’s smart to do this right away (within a week or less) of signing up. Thankfully, we didn’t have a claim, so I can’t speak to that. I’d recommend it to anyone who is looking to insure their trip.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, there is a standard exclusion in all travel insurance policies for the loss of money even in the event of theft.

I have purchased travel insurance from J. Hancock for trips taken outside the U.S,A. in at leas the last 10 years. The sales rep has always been courteous , polite, informative, efficient and professional. The cost has always been reasonable. I intend to insure with Hancock for all of my future foreign trips.

Please also note that coverages are per person. Trip Cancellation does provide 100% reimbursement up to your total trip cost if you must cancel your trip for a covered reason.
