To be honest, I never had to file a claim so I truly don't know how good they are in responding to a claim. This is really where the plan will show up as being 5-stars or less. I used it for my trip and I liked that I entered each specific cost so that they would reimburse me appropriately if I had to use it.

The price of the plan, especially for what it covered, was better than what the travel site offered. Taking a trip to the Caribbean during hurricane season pretty much requires insurance. Luckily we didn't have to file a claim but felt good about having the insurance, just in case.

we booked our travel in May 2019 On June 3, 2019 we purchased insurance. In 1st week of Sept 2019 I received an email that my flight is cancelled by AeroMexico. So I had to go ahead and book my flights again which cost me around $1,500.00 more than the original purchase. I contacted the insurance co they asked me to send them all the proof which I did. for 2 weeks I did not receive any correspondence from the insurance co so I decided to contact them to find out about the status of my claim. The lady that I spoke to told me that this kind of flight cancellations are not covered under their policy. moreover the insurance that I purchased is not refundable plus even though we are flying on the same dates to the same destination the insurance that we paid for does not cover us any more.
