Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
Did not have any need to use any part of the plan thank goodness. It's all about the satisfaction of knowing you have coverage if needed. Thanks for being there.

Did not need to use cruise coverage. Feel much safer purchasing Travel Insurance through Insure My Trip then buying the insurance plan that the cruise line offers; that is keyed in their favor.

Once my completed documentation had been submitted, it took more than EIGHT WEEKS to process my claim (all that time without me being asked to submit any additional documentation). I tried to call the company about the delay, but got put on hold for a long time and finally gave up. I will say that they finally reimbursed me for the amount of my request and didn't deny any of my claim. Because of the nature of my injury, I also had a claim for a later trip with different insurer - it took that company THREE DAYS from the time of my electronic submission to notification of approval of the claim and then another four days to receive the refund, for a total of one week.

InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.
We added a day to the beginning of our trip a few months prior. At that time also realized the end date was a day short. Contacted customer service who instructed me on the email I needed to send for these changes. Relatively easy with no additional charge. Only complaint is that we had also changed our email address which was only half successful. One response to new email but other with details to old.
