I felt the cost for my insurance was high. I suspect it was high because I am now 80 years old and the plan did not take into account that I am in very good health and very active. However, the coverage and the agents with whom I spoke were excellent.

Fortunately we did not have to file a claim. And since it was not a costly plan, it was a good investment for us. Deciding on the plan was an easy venture. I am glad I chose C&F.

Thank you for your review. Travel insurance is reimbursement based and this policy is one of reimbursement. There are times when insurance providers can advance payment, based on the situation. During the trip you can always contact the insurance providers 24 Hour Emergency Assistance Center. At that time they can medically monitor you and if medical costs were high they may have been able to give the hospital details to forward any bills. After confirming the claim was deemed covered the final decision to pay would be made. We never needed any assistance or had a need to use our travel insurance but it was comforting to know that if anything unexpected happened we were covered. If we travel overseas again I would use AIG Travel Guard again.

The good news is, we didn’t have to use the insurance, but it makes it more difficult to evaluate how good they are. But they did send us an email right before our trip making themselves available if we had any issues during our trip.

I LOST MY LUGGAGE AND EQUIPMENT THE FIRST DAY. I CALLED THIS COMPANY AND EMAILED THEM AND DIDNT HEAR BACK!!!!!!!!!! 4 DAYS LATER I FINALLY GOT SOMEONE ON THE PHONE WHO WAS RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL. THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD TAKE 3 TO 5 DAYS TO PROCESS A CLAIM AND THEY WOULDN'T COVER EVERYTHING I [email protected]@??????? I WILL NEVER USE THEM OR TRUST YOUR COMPANY TO RECOMMEND TO ANY OF OUR TRAVELERS

Although the plan you purchased includes a variety of covered items under which Generali can provide coverage if you experience a loss, there is unfortunately no coverage for the loss of a laptop as they are excluded from coverage as stated In your coverage details.
