Travel Guard Basic
In years past, I avoided optional travel insurance like the plague. A younger age came into play, but also today's travel environment has impacted my confidence in, and the reliability of, uneventful travel planning. Between airlines squeezing for a buck, world safety issues, and Mother Nature, travel, unfortunately, isn't as simple and carefree as I seem to remember it once being. So, I now feel the modest cost of travel insurance puts my mind at ease when it comes to the unknown and/or unexpected. I'd rather spend a little money than risk the entire cost of a trip due to any number of uncontrollable situations.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. Premiums for comprehensive policies are calculated based on: trip cost, length of travel, and age of the traveler(s). In general, a travel insurance policy should cost anywhere from 4%-10% of your total pre-paid, non-refundable trip cost.Feb 05,2015
