Covered the trip to go to Fiji centering on a cruise. The boat was washed on the reef in a storm so that part was cancelled without reimbursement to us. We filed to recover what we lost on the cruise and you did not pay. We chose to go to Fiji anyway, without the cruise, and had to buy a NEW policy from you to cover the trip. We had no need to use that second policy so i suppose it "worked."

I purchased this plan in December for a trip in March. It had a ten (10) look back (whatever that is). I called to cancel the insured trip because my wife suffered a set back from open heart surgery six months ago. She spent over three days in cardiac ICU in February and was advised against making the trip at this time.. I was told that there would be no refund or transfer to a trip rescheduled in September because of the 10 day lookback. I feel that that is unfair especially since there would be no claims from the trip because there was no trip. Very unhappy customer.

Being a retired RN I know all the health problems that might happen on a trip out of the country.The man I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful.My son in law's company also uses this insurance company so felt if anything should happen I was in good hands.Had a lovely trip to Fiji except the heat and humidity were over the top!
