My representative from NY was amazing and answered so many questions. Thanks for hiring US citizens and keeping business in the US. My only disappointment was that in NY border closures in other countries are not covered.

Long time user of insure my trip and this was my first time filing a claim. My husband had to go to urgent care while hiking in Iceland. I was lazy and filed it 7 months after our trip. The process wasn’t completely clear but the person I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and walked me through the process and I was paid in about 4 weeks.

It's hard to comment on this coverage when I (fortunately) did not need it. I primarily purchased the coverage for the event of a medical emergency...and my wife and I stayed healthy & passed all the covid tests required to travel.

Very disappointed in General Global Assistance and its deceptive marketing. We included and paid for "Cancel For Any Reason" except for a "listed covered event" in our coverage. We cancelled it per our own personal misgivings about Covid circumstances. While there were pandemic warnings about international travel, there were no restrictions about our travel.
This was misleading business, and we're very dissatisfied with the company's performance. Not only will we never use it again, it should be a warning to any members of the traveling public who may ever consider employing General Global Assistance.

I cancelled the cruise that this policy was for.
I requested to use the premium on insurance for another cruise that I had previously booked and paid for.
Was told I could only use it for the voucher I received for the recently canceled trip and a new booking.
I have no plans for a new booking in the immediate future because of uncertainties of COVID .
I will not ever again use Insure My Trip to purchase travel insurance.
