Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
I didn’t have to use this insurance so I can’t speak to how easy it was to get reimbursed for any medical expenses (which is why I purchased it). I did however see an ambulance take someone off our ship, and also spoke to someone who had had to use trip insurance, and their story reminded me of why I get it, even when I haven’t needed to use it in my travels.

The cost was reasonable for what we spent on the trip, but it is Insurance. If you need it, you're glad you have it, if you don't use it, it is a waste of money.

I originally booked a cruise for our 21st wedding anniversary; however, sadly my brother passed away a week before our trip. Thankfully, I had travel insurance with 'Nationwide." I contacted "Insure my Trip first". They answered the phone in less than 5minutes. The representative gave me the contact information for "Nationwide insurance". I uploaded the documents they requested and they responded and honored my claim 100% within 3 weeks.
I am so thankful I chose Nationwide to insure us, this was the first time that I used them. In the past I used a different insurance company, C & F travel, for several years and never filed a claim; however , upon looking at their current reviews I noticed this time around they had several bad reviews on not honoring their claims so I decided to go with Nationwide. Nationwide took care of me and my family when we needed them most.
I will continue to used them for my travel insurance needs!

This plan uses a middle man to process claims. I can't get through the hoop jumping and defective web site to file a small claim. Theses idiots are wasting my time and seem motivated to block the legitimate claim.

Flights were changed by the airline 2 months prior to trip and the times did not work for us so we cancelled our trip. Nationwide would not cover our claim for a cancelled trip (was only requesting the deposit). We booked another trip for the same week as the cancelled trip and after denying our claim they would not allow us to transfer the insurance we paid for to the rescheduled trip. So we were out the money from the original trip and we had to purchase a new insurance plan for the rescheduled trip. I contacted InsuremyTrip to see if they could do anything to help and they said I had to go through Nationwide. I contacted Nationwide and they said I had to go through InsuremyTrip. I would never use Nationwide or InsuremyTrip again.
