We did not go to Costa Rica and I tried multiple times to get in touch with someone. I thought the point of travel insurance was to help with the cost when you couldn’t go.

Just a heads up! Plan was as required from the country we visited Costa Rica, be sure and print the pages that indicate the coverage customs in Costa Rica almost declined my coverage had I not proved them wrong with the printed pages

All I wanted was COVID-19 Travel Insurance as mandated by the Costa Rica government. All other companies wanted to do was insure my entire trip which was very expensive. Didn't need the plan, but coverage seemed good. I used this in July 2021 to meet Costa Rica's insurance requirement and it was very smooth. You simply upload the insurance docs to the health pass and show the QR code at immigration. Would definitely buy again.
