Comprehensive plans offer the most benefits, including Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. These plans provide the best protection for the investment you have made in your trip.
Suggestion: Email JUST the contract # and emergency CBR tel # preferably within 5 days of trip start.
Then the customer can send it out, without all the paperwork, to their emergency contact(s).

So unless you need to file a claim, it is difficult to judge how good the insurance is. I didn't need to file a claim so take my feedback with a grain of salt.

The year before when I purchased a plan we got some emails telling us about coverage, how to file a claim including contact numbers and other useful stuff. After this plan was purchased, we didn't hear anything after the premium was collected.

This confirmation includes the purchase details, contact information, and schedule of benefits. InsureMyTrip.com will also provide you with a coverage confirmation email that will provide your claims phone number and mailing address. John Hancock Bronze paid my claims in entirety. I had to re-submit my information using their forms because my first submittal didn't suit their accounting system. But all's well that ends well!
