The plan did what we expected. It's insurance. It's there when you need it. We would would recommend it to those looking for better coverage than the "trip insurance" offered by the airlines when tickets are purchased. We will purchase the AXA Assistance USA Gold plan again.

This is the 3rd policy I've purchased. I've filed one claim and my experience was great! The customer service rep emailed the required forms, I returned the form, my bill and my ship documents via email and was reimbursed within 10 days. I've recommended InsureMyTrip to all of my friends.

I researched the options carefully before buying to make sure of what the coverage was. The cost was reasonable. I did not have to make a claim. HOWEVER, I did have a minor accident on the first day of the trip. Even though it wasn't serious enough to require medical care (scrapes & bruises), it could have been (possible broken leg). I was very glad to know that I was covered for medical care in case it had been worse.
