Had to file a claim using CFAR. The claim was paid exactly as promised with no problems or runarounds. Everything was handled electronically. Received a check within about 2 weeks. Great, friendly service. I highly recommend.

I had to appeal three times before $40 of my $120 claim for expenses incurred as a result of baggage delay was allowed. They didn't think the cost of transportation to get to a store to purchase needed clothing was reimbursable. People I spoke to on the phone had no authority to deal with the claim. The documents sent to me referred to me as "the patient" on what was obviously a medical insurance form. I think the claim was finally allowed only because I was stubborn and persistent.

I've used AXA Assistance USA Gold plan twice, both times I had to use it unfortunately. Once for a trip delay caused by the airline, another time for an illness. Both times they processed it relatively quickly, were very kind over the phone, and fulfilled our claim. I recommend AXA Assistance and will continue to use them for my travels.

Very reasonable and fair, this is the second time we used this insurance and we will always recommend it to our family and friends. Filing a claim was resolved fairly and reasonably with solution given upon presentation of all required documentation.

We were very satisfied with the price for the coverage for most items, such as luggage and health emergencies. We nearly needed to stay overnight in Russia with no way home due to an airline error they didn't want to cover. My coverage for trip delays was only $200. That would have been inadequate, but better than nothing and delays happen all the time. At $600 to cover a $15K trip, the plan was worth the cost and I'd buy it again.
