I had a medical emergency while abroad. I contacted Tokio insurance to find where I should go for treatment. They said they would look into it and email me the specifics. Twelve hours later they responded that I was not insured by them so I should go anywhere I wanted. Clearly I was insured as I had the receipt in my hand. After my emergency was settled I contacted them again. This is where they said that because I contacted them outside of regular work hours they did not have access to my recent records. This is a major problem and needs to be resolved. During my medical emergency abroad, Tokio was slow to respond and gave me the wrong information. I will not recommend them

We paid $1200 for two for 3 weeks. Didnt use it. Thought it is too expensive but hard to judge. Higher deductible could make premium more affordable. Our ages raised the premium.
